1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the WalletVote mobile application ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). The App is provided by ConsoleLog LLC ("we," "our," or "us"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

WalletVote is a free mobile application that allows users to scan product barcodes to view political contribution data, lobbying information, and other publicly available data about the brands and companies behind everyday products. The App aggregates data from official U.S. Government sources including the Federal Election Commission (FEC), Senate Lobbying Disclosure Act (LDA) filings, and SEC EDGAR.

3. Data Accuracy Disclaimer

Political contribution data, lobbying data, and all other information displayed in the App is sourced from publicly available government databases and third-party news sources. While we strive for accuracy:

• Data is provided "as-is" without warranty of completeness or accuracy
• There may be delays between when data is filed and when it appears in the App
• Company-to-brand associations are maintained by our team and may contain errors
• News articles are aggregated from third-party sources and do not represent our views
• Community votes and watchlist data reflect user opinions, not verified facts

We are not responsible for errors in upstream government data sources. WalletVote does not endorse, recommend, or oppose any political party, candidate, or company.

4. User Conduct

When using WalletVote, you agree to:

• Use the App for lawful, personal, non-commercial purposes only
• Not attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the App
• Not abuse the community voting or watchlist features (e.g., automated voting, vote manipulation)
• Not attempt to interfere with the App's servers, APIs, or databases
• Not scrape, harvest, or bulk-download data from the App

5. Community Features

WalletVote includes community features such as brand voting (support/avoid) and watchlists. By using these features:

• You understand that votes are anonymous and aggregated
• You agree not to use automated tools to manipulate vote counts
• We reserve the right to remove or reset votes if abuse is detected
• Community sentiment does not constitute financial or political advice

6. Intellectual Property

The WalletVote app, its design, code, and branding are the property of ConsoleLog LLC. Brand names, logos, and trademarks displayed within the App belong to their respective owners and are used for identification purposes only. Government data displayed in the App is in the public domain.

7. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CONSOLELOG LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP. THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

In no event shall our total liability exceed the amount you paid for the App (which is $0, as WalletVote is free).

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ConsoleLog LLC from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the App at any time, for any reason, without notice. You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it from your device.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the App shall be resolved in the applicable courts.
